Brompton Swimming Club welcomes you!
Brompton Swimming Club started in 2006 to meet the demands for more swimming opportunities once children had outgrown the successful Virgin Active Swim School programme at Fulham Pools, London. In four short years, we have gone from strength to strength. Today, we have a busy training and competition program that caters for all swimmers – from those just starting out in competitive swimming to those aiming for regionals and beyond.

EASTER HOLIDAY TRAINING 2012 (28/03/2012):
We will have training available during both weeks over the Easter break, on the weeks commencing2nd April and the 9th April. Monday to Thursday ONLY.
- Access: 5pm to 6pm
- Competition: 6pm to 7pm
- Performance: 5pm to 7pm
Middlesex County Championships (29 Feb 2012)
We had a wonderful start to the Middlesex County Championships over the past weekend.
Full results will be posted at the end of the Championships, however below is a summary of the first weekend
Gold medals
Alesha Kelly (9 years): 50 Fly – an amazing time of 39.10 breaking the 40 second mark!
Silver Medals
Spencer Williams (11 years): 800 FC – this was definitely the race of the weekend! An amazing display of stamina and strength from beginning to end; finishing in an astounding time of 10:14.06. Well done on achieving yet anotherRegional Qualifying time Spencer!
Bronze Medals
Spencer Williams (11 years): 50 Fly – great effort with a time of 34.04s.
Parents who are ordering uniforms, please note: the “BSC Children’s zoodie” size S is a size 5/6, M is 7/8, L is 9/11 and XL is 12/13. Size S will be too small for most children.
London Mini Youth Games Thursday 30th June: We had two sensational swims bringing in medals; Spencer Williams achieving a Silver Medal for 50m Butterfly and Zoe Faure-Beaulieu a Bronze Medal for 50m Breast stroke. Both of them swimming PB’s! Good efforts were put in by Alex Carruthers on the day too!
London Main Youth Games Saturday 2nd July: Fantastic efforts were put in by Georgina Alderman, Bridget Simpson, Marina Abril Gonzau, Joanna Petterschmidt, Mathias Peterschmidt, Nicholas Tyrie and Philip Castano.
Round 2 of Milton Keynes Junior Leaugue Saturday 2nd July: Convincing 1st place in our gala. Looking forward to seeing where we rank in our division standings. What a great achievment team, well done!
Tiger Sharks Sunday 3rd July : We had some excellent swims on the day and good efforts were put in by all who attended. We had three swimmers making the finals; Jordan Williams, Ryan Hughs and Flavia Galdiolo. Jordan Williams had an amazing swim finishing 3rd overall!
Coach Dave Training Workshop, Sunday 10th July! 11am – 12pm for Access Squad. 1pm – 3.30pm for Competition and Performance Squads. 3.30pm – 4pm Question session with parents.
New coach: A very big welcome to our new part-time coach, Joanna Basista. She has many years of swim teaching and coaching experience. She also swam proffessionally for 13 years and was part of the Polish Olympic Team for back stroke. Joanna is scheduled to start coaching with Brompton Swimming Club on Thursday 23rd June. New caps: New Brompton Swimming Club caps are available from your coaches. They will be priced at £4 each until the end of the month, £5 thereafter. Hurry! (22 June 2011)
Thursday 9 June: fun session for all squads from 6.30-8 pm as this is Paul’s last week. Please bring your black Bees polo as this is the last opportunity to get a photgraph of Paul with the squad.
The club would like to wish GOOD LUCK to our BIGGEST team yet who will be going up against London’s best swimmers in the LONDON REGION AGE CHAMPIONSHIPS on the 4th/5th and 11th/12 June. This team compromises of those who have worked hard to achieve the qualifying standards. We have just recently changed our name from Brompton Bees Swim Club to our new and improved BROMPTON SWIMMING CLUB and we now have a new logo to match!
